About the project

Our first in-house short: a 14-minute fable about a cartographer mapping a valley that refuses to stay still. Written over two winters, shot in nine days across the Sierra foothills, and finished the way we finish everything — grade, mix and titles under one roof. Hinterland took Best Cinematography at the Aurora Film Awards and taught us more about restraint than any client job ever has.
