About the project

Forty-one years on the same rock. When the Northshore Trust automated its final manned lighthouse, we spent the keeper's last winter with him — three trips, two storms, one very small boat. The 22-minute film premiered at the Aurora Documentary Festival and now anchors the Trust's public archive. Shot on a two-person crew to keep the silence honest.
